Here’s a list of the most common asked questions we receive about creating a custom art portfolio case.  Don’t hesitate to nudge us if you have any other questions!

Can I use my own materials?

No.  Parts can only be cut from materials we supply to guarantee a high quality product . You can use other materials to add to your design once you receive your portfolio case.

How do I make my portfolio case design ready?

Our Portfolio Case Design Guide will give fill you in on everything you need to make your file ready for fabrication.

What materials can I use for my portfolio case?

Visit our website for available custom portfolio case materials.

What software can I use to create my design?

You have to use vector art software such as Adobe Illustrator CS or CorelDraw X3. You must save your final design as an AI file. Please read our Design Guidelines.

Why can I only send you an .ai file?

We have chosen to use .ai  files because they have a greater degree of accuracy than other file formats. This means you have greater control over your design. Also, this is a file type that can easily be read and understood by our machines.

What do I do if I don’t use any of this software?

You’ll need to find a graphic designer to help you out. If you’re at a loss, we can convert your file into the proper format for a cost of $50/ hour.

How much will my portfolio case cost?

Because these are custom projects, the cost will depend largely on the material, size, and intricacy of your design.  You can find klo portfolios pricing on our website.

How will I know what my portfolio case will look like?

Once you receive a quote and if you’d like to move forward with your portfolio case, we’ll create a projection specifying all of the design details so you know exactly what you’re getting before you sign off on it.

Do you sell sheet protectors and other accessories?

No. We currently don’t sell this but are planning to add them in the coming months.

I still have more questions. Where do I go?
